Members of VFW Calabash Post 7288 and Auxiliary traveled to Wilmington on Monday, February 9, 2026 to visit Canines for Service and visit "Jet" the service dog we sponsored. "Jet" has just graduated from foster care to begin in house training.
Jet is wearing a muzzle to train him not to pull on the leash. He might lick you to death but he doesn't bite!
Money raised during the Golf Tournament will help sponsor Service dogs for Veterans trained by Canines for Service in Wilmington NC.
